(Sibu, 24th) Sarawak Deputy Minister of Public Health and Housing, Datuk Cheng Mingzhi, stated that health is an uncompromising priority, especially for journalists who often face heavy workloads and irregular schedules. He said that without good health, we cannot achieve anything, as the body lacks the energy to function properly.
Therefore, he pledged today to sponsor free health checkups for members of the Sibu Journalists Association as an annual event. He explained that this program, in collaboration with PATHLAB Testing Centre, aims to ensure that local media professionals can prioritize their health while fulfilling their daily duties. Cheng Mingzhi made these remarks this morning at the launch of the health checkup program for members of the Sibu Journalists Association.
